Living In "A State of Electronica"
Biography
ABBYINTERNATIONAL, a Chicago Native, is making her mark in Experimental Techno music. Her childhood love of Electronica and Rock music peaked her interest of becoming an alternative artist. Learning music with Alternative Rock, ABBYINTERNATIONAL began taking vocal lessons and studying the guitar.
During her international travels to Europe she studied language and joined the Euro Nightlife scene. Listening to a lot of Techno, Trance, and Dance music laid the foundation for what would eventually become an obsession with Electronic music.


For the last few years, ABBYINTERNATIONAL’S study of Electronic Music composition, led her to develop her own style. Long nights of experimenting with vocals, songwriting, and track production at home, eventually led her to create her own music that she could “relate” to. "I found it hard to get into the Chicago "Electronica Scene". Of course, I was always at a top "DJ List" Concert whenever one came to town. That only goes as far as networking and eventually your going to need a product. Collaboration Projects were always an absolute nightmare. So I figured eventually if I would be in music, I would have to do it my way with my own sound that I could feel."

Comfortable as an Independent Artist, she enjoys the role of being a "jack of all trades." She states, "It's very common for artists to seek a record deal at all costs, but I like being able to carry out the "industry" part of music for myself. Not placing your success in the hands of others and knowing what's going on in your career helps the artist learn about the business side of music and grow."
A unique persona and avant-garde individuality has molded her into the universal-minded woman she is today. As ABBYINTERNATIONAL dares to travel in the footsteps of Legendary Female Entertainers, she continues to go against the musical grain while spreading her music and gaining international recognition.


ABBYINTERNATIONAL'S style of music speaks passion in volumes. Bringing classic beats, poetry, and alternative style vocals to her emotion driven dance music, where a smooth rawness resonates in its' depths. Exploring beats and melodies with her "rap/speak" style, she experiments to create a unique blend of Experimental and Techno music. Embracing the minor keys she balances a dark mysterious ambience, with up-tempo beats and creates her signature voice within the genre.
Rather she becomes a commercial artist or finds a spot in the underground world of Electronica her sound will always be "independent".
